LEAKED ALL HANDS CALL: PR Firm, Berlin-Rosen, celebrates efforts to remove Trump from Colorado ballot. "Let's save democracy.”

Project Veritas has obtained a leaked February 9th, 2024 company call from within NYC PR firm, Berlin Rosen, as they celebrate their efforts to “recast the narrative” on behalf of client CREW (Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington) – as it pursues a controversial legal effort to remove Republican front runner, Donald Trump, from the presidential ballot in Colorado.

CREW positions itself as a nonpartisan watchdog, a thin veneer which dissolves under the microscope of the group’s multi-year legal war against Donald Trump - a pursuit that began when CREW filed its first lawsuit against Trump, just three days after his Presidential inauguration.

CREW found the plaintiffs who brought the current case in Colorado and funded the lawsuit. In recent weeks, CREW hired Berlin Rosen, progressive PR machine, to reframe their work in the minds of the courts and the American public in the weeks leading up to its February 8th oral arguments before the Supreme Court. 

In this call BR employees discuss their strategies to supply media allies with talking points that will paint CREW’s work as a democratic effort that is well-supported by conservatives. 

They discuss efforts to use social media influencers, news-hijacking, and anti-Trump republicans to “correct the record” surrounding CREW’s legal efforts.

CREW’s controversial legal strategy aims to disqualify Trump from the presidency utilizing a little-known section of the fourteenth amendment that states elected officials who participate in an insurrection against the US can’t hold office again. Despite never being charged with insurrection, CREW surmises that the events of January 6th disqualify Donald Trump from running for president. 

Berlin Rosen is known for substantial political clientele and championing various progressive causes and candidates, including former NYC Mayor Bill DeBlasio, and Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison. Berlin Rosen boasts on its website that its PR work during the 2022 election helped elect over 100 democratic candidates, turned states blue, and supported “organizations committed to the essential work of protecting our democracy.”

A Berlin Rosen insider, concerned by what they believe to be dishonesty within the PR company, brought this recording to Project Veritas stating, “I feel this is highly unethical and hypocritical of their statement to ‘protect democracy’… disqualifying a candidate from running is especially anti-American but the leftist bias here is so strong they don’t see their own hypocrisy.”

The Berlin Rosen can be heard celebrating their efforts in coordinating a press conference for CREW the day before, as CREW argued its case before the Supreme Court. 

Despite Berlin-Rosen’s celebration of a job well done, the Supreme Court didn’t appear to be as convinced. Multiple justices seemed skeptical of the group’s legal theory presented by attorney Brian Murray, asking him to consider the nationwide impact of Colorado limiting the presidential voting options for millions of other Americans.

Colorado’s Presidential Primary is March 5th and the Supreme Court’s ruling is expected soon.
