“Our video investigation, once again, highlights the concerns Texans should have with Battleground Texas’ methods and their apparent inability to follow the rule of law.”

(September 29, 2014) – Earlier this year, Project Veritas caught Battleground Texas, an organization working to turn Texas blue and elect Democrat Wendy Davis governor, illegally copying voter registration data for campaign purposes. And they’re at it again.

This time, Project Veritas ensnared two Battle Ground Texas operatives turning a blind eye to the possibility their own volunteers could be breaking multiple election laws.

James O’Keefe stated:

“Battleground Texas makes no bones about their objective: voter registration. That’s all well and good, but there are rules to follow. At this point, it is clear to us that this organization’s leadership is certainly aware of the rules and regulations they must follow under Texas law when registering voters. However, how closely are they actually following it?

O’Keefe continued:

“Our video investigation, once again, highlights the concerns Texans should have with Battleground Texas’ methods and their apparent inability to follow the rule of law. Voting is a sacred right Americans cherish. When a group such as this one continues to show they are unconcerned with protecting the validity of that right, it is time they face much higher scrutiny and answer for their transgressions.”
