Maine Governor Tripling Medicaid Fraud Investigators

In the wake of two separate investigative reports released by Project Veritas that show evidence of ongoing Medicaid fraud in Maine, Governor LePage has requested that the number of fraud investigators in the Department of Health and Human Services be tripled.

Unlike most government spending, this increase in the number of investigators may actually help to save tax dollars.

In September, James O’Keefe is scheduled to give a lecture on his career as a citizen journalist to a gathering of activists at the University of Southern Maine.

Washington, D.C.  James O’Keefe, founder of Project Veritas today released the second part of its investigation into Medicaid Fraud in Maine.  This is the seventh video release as part of a nation-wide Medicaid fraud investigation. 

In the latest video, an undercover reporter attempts to apply for benefits Medicaid offices in Biddeford and Portland, Maine.
